So first the time ever, I bought super premium gasoline. Not because I am concerned with the latest performance of my 99 Toyota Avalon, but because I had no other choice. With Hurricane Ike threatening to pounce on the Houston area, it seems there has been a shortage of regular and slightly better than regular gasoline. Either that, or the gas stations are masochist’s who enjoy watching people panic by artificially limiting supply. In any rate, with this rare taste of luxury, I will be eyeing this tank of gas closely for any noticeable boosts in performance.
